Making an Impact Globally
Nearly 3,000 people call Bisunu Village home, and shockingly, nearly every household has a family member with a severe disability. These disabilities range from blindness to deafness, to birth defects and missing limbs. Villagers must walk over a mile to the nearest water source - a dark green, murky, water hole shared with livestock and believed to be a major contributing factor to the congenital deformities and diseases presented. Spousal abandonment, superstition, & extreme poverty also run rampant, due in part to disabilities.

Our Partnership with Strides for Africa.
Jesus Freedom Ministry reached out to numerous contacts trying to find the right team to bring clean water to Bisunu. Strides for Africa’s mission to clean water access to those most in need and their past experience with a similar project in the region made them the right partner for us to try to bring clean water to Bisunu.
