SFA Team Visits Partners in Rwanda

The primary objective of this trip was to evaluate the completed projects and assess their impact thus far.  We have co-funded two rainwater collection, treatment, and storage projects with Feeding Mouths Filling Minds that were constructed/implemented through our Rwandan partner, Water Access Rwanda.

Additionally, they aimed to analyze the potential projects to ensure their sustainability and the benefits they could provide to the local stakeholders.

Eric Dukudane (FMFM marketing and graphics volunteer), Jean Paul HARAGIRIMANA (senior Community Center Attendant at Akagera Management Company), Jake Breit (SFA Fund Development Coordinator) and Missy Ngabire (SFA Partnership Coordinator) pictured at the Akagera Community Center.

Throughout their visit to the Kayonza district, Jean Paul, our community partner currently affiliated with the Akagera Community Center, played a crucial role. Jean Paul introduced SFA to five schools with the most needs in the district and their neighboring communities. Moreover, he assisted in facilitating conversations and interviews with various stakeholders.

The team was fortunate to have the assistance of a local volunteer, Eric Dukudane, who helped capture videos and pictures showcasing the different schools and communities they visited. We hope you enjoy a peek into the trip through our video!
